- בִּינְתָאI f. collect. noun, or בִּינָתָא pl. (v. בֵּינָת) the inside part, whence the kernel of seeds. B. Bath.18b bot. אי בב׳ as to the grains (of mustard). Gitt.69b ניזדהר מב׳ let him guard against swallowing the seeds. Sabb.67a בִּינֵי כמונא Ms. M. (ed. בוני) cumin seeds.
